The Good Samaritan
One day, and half-hour after school had finished, a student named Christian walked in to his Math class to ask his teacher questions. Christian was never very good at math and in fact had never recieved a letter grade higher than a C. This was because Christian was a very shy child and instead of raising his hand to ask a question he would just sit still in fear of the inevitable grade he was bound to see. He spoke to his teacher and said, " What to I need to do to receive an A?" The math teacher calmly said, " What does the instructional policy say? I believe it says turn in all of your homework and understand the material taught in class. Christian if you understand the information in class, then you will get an A in the class! You are not the only one with problems, Dave has trouble with the material as well." In response Christian said, "Is it right to give help to Dave and maybe have a power study session?" The math teacher pondered for a second and then said, " Yes, but make sure you are doing your own work. Let me tell you a story Christian. A student had an 89 and needed an A to please his parents and was unable to get past his benchmark. So one day he decided fellow clssmates for help. He asked Sandy, she said she was to busy and had more important things to do. Then, he asked Mario, Mario said " Sorry bro, I am not busy but I just don't like you." Then Steven walked by and offered his assitance. Steven helped Christian by giving him his notes from last year so Christian could cheat. Christian study the notes and old tests and received an A at the end of the semester. "
