The Rolly Backpack

When I was about in 4th through 6th grade rolly-backpacks where the “it” thing to have. If you did not have one, you obviously were not cool enough. What’s funny is, is it’s the complete opposite now. But anyways, I remember I had a pinkish-purple Land’s End rolly-backpack, and I took pride in that bag. Not only did children love these backpacks, or should I say “ground”packs, but parents loved them too. Other than the banging noise they would make while traveling up and down stairs, the parents loved these bags because they were much safer for their child’s back. But, just like a trend, these backpacks came in and after few years were suddenly out and replaced by North Face or Jansport. Nowadays I prefer North Face, but that is just my opinion. I surely hope that the rolly-backpack does not come back in-style; but I must say, if it did it would be pretty hilarious.
